The BilgeClear bilge water filtration systems prevents oils and hydrocarbons from being discharged overboard when boats and ships pump out bilge water. Bilge water is often contaminated with emulsified fuels, lubricating oils and greases which cannot be separated.
BilgeClear filtration systems remove approx. 99% of oils and hydrocarbons from bilge water ensuring discharge levels are below MARPOL regulations. Bilge water containing high concentrations of oils (250ppm) is generally reduced to below 3ppm
The BilgeClear 40 filter unit is supplied with a patented 10" x 2.5" dia. Mycelx filter, filter housing, fixing bracket and housing spanner.
